My Daddy

-Funny

-Big laugh

-Madly in love with my Mom

-Married almost 40 years to my Momma

-Friend to many

-Loves us kids and the grand girls

-Enjoys a good drive in the car

-Isn't afraid to cry (it's a Golden thing, I'm convinced)

-Famous saying "I'm always in a good mood, it's just sometimes I'm in better moods than others."

-Tells Steve  "Take care of my girls" each time we say goodbye.

-Tells the grand girls "You know your 'ole Grandpa loves you?"

-Asks me "You  know your 'ole Dad loves you?"

-Uncondionally loves each of us, no matter what path we chose in life.

-Just like my Grandpa (his Daddy)

-Poetic

-Funny text messages (sometimes poetic text messages, which are the best!)

-One of my favorite memories: my Dad laying in bed with when I was a kid and laughing and telling jokes before bedtime.

-Great spider killer (hahaha-I hate spiders.  He'd have to kill them for me as a kid)

-Washes the car almost every Saturday.  He loves a clean car.

-Early riser (again, it's a Golden thing, I'm convinced)

-Great cook (he learned to really bake while he was off work for a year)

-Picky eater ("You don't smear banana on a piece of bread and eat it therefore you don't eat banana bread")

-Good listener

-Retired after 20 some years of service as a phone repairman at AT&T

-Fabulous Uno, Scrabble, Yahtzee and Sorry player

-Giver of great hugs

Thank you for being who you are today.  Thank you for setting a great example for the boys and I as to what a husband should be like.  Thank you for everything you do to take care of Mom.  Thank you for loving me unconditionally.
