Tuesday

My Tanner girl is still sick. Bless her heart, she's miserable! Her nose isn't quite as clogged, thanks to the sinus rinse we used yesterday. But her face is pale and swollen, her little eyes are all swollen, she's very dizzy (like so dizzy she ran into a wall this morning and was trying to put her donut on the cabinet and dropped it instead), has "bubbles in her ears" (fluid in her ears, usually infected), "gunk" in her throat, a productive, nasty cough, her chest hurts "very very bad" and she's just run down. I've been giving her Delysm, Coricidan Flu, her regular Singulair and Clariton, her RX nose spray, along with the sinus rinse. It doesn't seem to really be working too much and that's frustrating.

I called the Dr at 7:57 this morning and they were unable to get her in today and even said Dr Froman is booked tomorrow as well. I guess she had to go to the hospital this morning and then has something going on tomorrow where she had to adjust her schedule. I left a message for Renee' Dr Froman's nurse, but I've not heard back from her yet. Usually Renee' will call me right back and squeeze us in somewhere. With Tanner's history and us being such frequent patients, Renee' usually gets us right in. Not sure what the deal is today-I guess they are just way busy. I'm hoping I'll hear from her soon.

In the meantime, she stayed here by herself again this morning and then Lynn (Mike's Mom) picked her up around noon, got her some lunch and then took her home with her. My class got out at 1:45 so I picked her up then and she's been in her bed since. She's currently in her bed working on a book report. She's very worried about her school work, but I'm fixing to leave to go get that so she can start on it.

Poor kid. I hate when she doesn't feel good!!!!
