Uneventful

It's been a rather uneventful and smooth week. I like it that way!

Work has been rather slow, which stinks-the slow days make the day seem like forever. I'd prefer to be busy and on my toes all day long. Hopefully it'll pick up.

We finally have a contract on my Grandma and Grandpa's house. I think they close maybe sometime at the end of August? I guess you could say it's bittersweet. It's good that it's finally sold and no one will have to worry about it anymore, but it also makes me very sad because it means everything is finally over.

I've been thinking a lot about what was going on in our lives a year ago. This is when Grandpa got sick and we were figuring out that he wasn't coming home this time. Man, it tears me up, even to this day. (I've got tears as I type this!) I can't help but think back to those final conversations that Grandpa and I had and how much those things he said mean to me. And though I know he's in a better place and he and Grandma are hanging out with The Big Man, it doesn't always make it easier. Man, I miss them.

On a happier note: Tanner is doing great in physical therapy. In fact I think he knee is almost pain free for part of the time. There are certain things that she does that aggravates it or if she steps wrong or something like that, it hurts, but I know overall she feels better. I'm so thankful.

Ok, I'm falling asleep as I type so I'm going to get off of here and go to bed, even though it's only 9:00. I'm beat!
