We have had an awesome day today.
As you know, our anniversary was Thursday. This year, instead of getting each other something, we decided we'd just spend a day shopping and hanging out together. Since Tanner is still at Mike's for another week :( we decided to do that today.
We got up and around and headed to Tulsa, which is a little over an hour away.
First stop-Gordman's. We have a Gordmans in Rogers and we love it. We don't get up there very often, but when we do-oh my! We have so much fun! We are in the process of redoing our bedroom so we were looking for things to go along with it. My "Martha Stewart" husband went to town matching and being the decorator that he is. I love it! We didn't buy a whole lot but we did get a lot of ideas and two 15% off coupons when we left, so we'll definitely be heading up to Rogers soon to pick up a few more things!
Next we went to Woodland Hills Mall. Steve's never been there and I had to chuckle when we walked in and he said "Oh, a double decker!" It was two stories-our mall here is only one story. Just made me laugh.
We shopped there and found a few bargains. My favorite bargain-a $50 pair of capri's at Anne Taylor Loft on clearance for $10! SCORE! We had a fun time in the store called "As Seen On TV," laughing at all the products that they demo on tv. Some of them look interesting, others were just plain dumb.
Our last stop was my favorite place in the world: The Cheesecake Factory. You want to know the ironic thing? Four years ago today, while on our honeymoon, we ate at The Cheesecake Factory! How cool is that!? It was soooooooooooo good! We had a new appetizer called "Avocado Eggrolls." They are exactly like they sound-avocados, red onion and cilantro rolled in a wonton and fried--they were so sinfully delicious. Yum! We stuffed ourselves and got our cheesecake to go since we were too full to eat it there. How's this for planning though-we took our little igloo cooler and the ice packs my Grandpa gave us a long time ago just so our cheesecake would stay good and cold for the ride home!!
We're home now and are worn out. It was such a great day though and we had so much fun.
Oh-something that totally melted my heart today: while I was trying on clothes at Anne Taylor, I noticed that Steve was texting. I didn't think too much of it, figured he was talking to my brother. Well, later on at dinner, we were talking and I asked him if he'd talked to Tanner today or not. He said that while standing in Anne Taylor, he just sent her a text that simply said "I love you" and that was it. Isn't that sweet!?! He said he just wanted her to know that he was thinking about her. What a man. And what a great Step-Daddy!
I am blessed in so many ways.

Thanks for the info on the blinds! We have family in Springdale. Josh and I both love it up there. We have always said if we ever move it would be there. Looks like you got a great hubby that will go shopping! Oh and thanks for the compliments (sp) of the girls room.
