I found this recipe on Allrecipes. (I love that website!) I made these today for a lunch at work and they were a real hit, so I thought I'd share:
1 Brownie mix
Water, oil and eggs for brownie mix
1 brick cream cheese
1/2 C powdered sugar
1/2 C red raspberry jam
Melted chocolate (optional)
Make brownies as directed on box. Let cool at least one hour.
Meanwhile soften cream cheese. Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and jam together with mixer until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture on cooled brownies. Refrigerate until set.
You can drizzle additional melted chocolate over the top if you want. (It looks really pretty if you do this!!)
I will say-don't use fat free cream cheese in this. It doesn't work, trust me. The second time I made the cream cheese mixture, I used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and it's worked great.
I know this may sound like an odd combination but oh my word-they are so delish!
YUM YUM YUM!!!
Enjoy!

OH MY GOSH you are so funny girlfriend. Your comment about the hotel thing had me laughing so hard... and only because we have these quirky similarities. I'm pretty ok with the beds; its the FLOORS that get me. Ew. I wear my flip flops around and I request extra towels so I can cover the bathroom floor with them. I also scrub down the tub before I'll put the girls in it. Hmmm... I create alot of work for myself there don't I? Ha!
The recipe sounds awesome. Totally agree about FF cream cheese!
And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY my friend!!! You and your hubby are so cute :)
