I told Tanner on the way home today that we were having spaghetti for dinner tonight and I was going to have her help me and teach her how we make spaghetti sauce. Very seiously, she said she "already knew two steps"on how to make it. I asked what those two steps were and she replied:
"Step One....brown some hambuger."
"Yes........"
"Step Two...open a jar of Ragu."
"NEGATIVE!" Not at this house!! We are Goldens, my child, that means we make our own sauce!
Nonetheless, we got a great laugh out of it.
She fixed the majority of dinner tonight without any help. Here's some pictures to prove it:

This is Tanner's first experience cutting onioins............poor kid.
All ingredients in the pan simmering.................
She really did do a great job and Steve and I were both very proud. All I can say is that Grandpa better watch out-Tanner's hot on the trail of having the best tasting Golden spaghetti!
