Real Quick

Went to visit the MIL at the hospital yesterday afternoon. We had a good visit. She seemed for the most part to be in her right mind, she was somewhat pleasant and overall, we (my SIL and I) felt encouraged that she was maybe getting "better."

I called her last night to check in and she was totally out of her head again. It was the complete opposite of how she was yesterday afternoon. We have our theories as to why she was so crazy again, but we can't confirm those theories until later today.

The plan is for her to be moved today to The Maples, which is an assisted living place here. While there they will regulate her meds and her diabetes. They will also do some physical therapy with her. It's going to be a fight though, i can tell you that right now. She DOES NOT want to go and has made that more than clear. I think we've convinced her for now that she needs to go for two weeks. When she did this last year and had to go to The Maples, it was an ordeal to say the least. My SIL will be at the hospital this morning to help convince her (again!) that she needs to go. I have a feeling Steve will be called in for back up.

Please pray this transition goes smoothly.

Tanner and I are fixin' to head out to Springfield to visit my God sister (and life long best friend) and her kiddos for the day/night. We're excited. It's gonna be fun to get away and just relax for the day.

Just wanted to give you a quick update before we leave.

Toodles!

Hey girl :) I hope everything goes well with the transition to the Maples for you MIL. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you and your SIL to try and convince her that this really is the best thing for her right now. Lots of positive vibes that everything will go smoothly for her and that they can help get her better.

Have fun on your trip!! You deserve it! And thank you so much for sticking by me on my blog and all my craziness lately. You are awesome, my friend. I also wish we were closer b/c yes, we would have SO MUCH FUN doing lunch and having your Tanner play with the little ones!
