Wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm currently laying in bed sipping on some peppermint tea. I woke up around 12:15 or so this morning with a horrible stomach ache. I ended up throwing up and felt a little better. I spent the rest of the night in Chelsey's bed and woke up this morning still feeling queasy and not so hot.


Typically I take Tanner to school even if I don't go to work. Steve doesn't have to be in until later so he doesn't get up until after we leave. This morning though, I woke him up and told him he'd need to take her. I fixed lunches and Steve some coffee then headed back to bed.

A little bit ago, I heard the garage door open and heard Steve come in. He came into the bedroom and said he'd gotten me "a little something" since I wasn't feeling good. (Keep in mind, this isn't like him at all. He's not one to give a gift "just because" bless his heart.) Anyway, he brought my prize into the bedroom where I was and it was a Wii!!

I have wanted a Wii for ages. We played on my brother's over Christmas and that just sealed the deal for me. I wanted a Wii and eventually, I was going to get one! Well, bless his heart, my hubby got us one today! I can't wait to get it hooked up and start playing me some bowling and golf! It's gonna be awesome!


I asked him if he told Tanner and he said yes, she knew. I guess he asked her if she could keep a secret and she assured him that she could, that people have told her things at school that she's not told anyone. He told her that this one involved me and without missing a beat, I guess she looked at him and said "Your getting Mom a Wii aren't you!?" That kid pays attention, I'm telling you! Cracked us up nonetheless. Silly girl.


So hopefully tonight when Steve gets home from work we'll be able to hook it up and start playing. I'm so excited!
