Friday

For whatever reason, I did NOT want to be at work today. I'm telling you, I think the day lasted at least twelve hours! Man! And I wasn't very busy so that didn't help things any. Oh well, I made it through the day and that's all that really matters.

After work I stopped by the funeral home for the visitation in honor of our officer's son, Tyler. It was so incredibly sad. A couple of us girls from work went together and we all sat there and sniffled. I can't even imagine what Andy and Marcie are going through. No parent should have to bury their child, no matter what the circumstance is. Man, that was a hard thing to do. Please keep the Ball family in your prayers.

Tonight my friend Deena and I took our girls to see the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert/Movie that came out today. I'm telling it was the best! We had such a fun time! Even though Kylee and Tanner are three years apart, they get along really well. From the moment we picked them up until we dropped them back off at home, they sat in the backseat and talked or sang the entire time! It was such a hoot to listen to!

The movie was.....well, you know. It was as good as it could be for a teeny bopper movie. It was so funny to watch the girls throughout it though. They clapped and sang along in their seats; they danced in their seats; they cheered and screamed in their seats....it was really funny to listen to/watch them. At one point I looked down and they were sitting there holding hands in pure excitement of Joe Jonas being on stage! When we left, they asked if they could scream when we went outside because they were so excited! They just couldn't stand it anymore.

I think what tickled Deena and I the most was the fact that the majority of the people in that theater were teenagers-older than our girls. EXCEPT for two dudes behind us who had brought their, oh I don't know, maybe four year old girls to the movie! Let me tell you, those Dads were singing and clapping and cheering right along with their daughters. We laughed and laughed-then I realized we probably looked just as goofy singing and clapping along with our girls too.

Good times, I tell ya. Good times.

I'm off of here. I'm worn out and ready for the day to be over.

Enjoy the weekend!
