Please pray for my friend and co-worker Allie Rhodes. Her boyfriend, Justin, went to Iraq last week to fight fires, through a private company. (He wasn't military) He had been a firefighter with the City of Springdale for several years and Allie said last week that he just felt like going over to Iraq was what he was supposed to do. He quit his job, went somewhere down south to train for two weeks, and then shipped out last week.
I got a call this morning that Justin was killed last night in Iraq by what is believed to be an IED. I'm sick for Allie. I'm sick for Justin's family. I'm just sick all over.
Allie is only in her mid 20's and has already lost both her Mother and Father. I know she loved Justin with all her heart and was so worried about him going to Iraq but supported his decision. I can't begin to imagine the pain she must be feeling right now. My heart just aches for her.
Please, please, please, stop what your doing right now and say a prayer for Allie and for Justin's family. Please pray that they somehow get through all of this and that God will comfort them during this horrible time.
