Short Note

It's 6:47 a.m. I am completely empty. I go in at 8:00 this morning for an IVP. Some things happened when I got home from New York and I had to go to the Dr. Tuesday afternoon. He thinks I have a kidney stone in the upper part of my right kidney. They'll shoot dye in my system this morning and watch it move around. If by chance they don't see a stone, he will order a "cysto" on my bladder. Don't know what it is, but it doesn't sound like fun.

Prepping for this test has SUCKED. I've had many colonoscopy and scopes-I am not an amature (I know that's misspelled but don't really care today) at being cleaned out. I think it's so awful though, that you tend to forget just how horrible it is. UGH. I'm so ready to put something in my tummy, although I'm scared it wouldn't stay in if I did.

Steve is geared up and ready for his surgery tomorrow. Me not feeling well has given him something else to focus on, so that's been a relief of sorts.

Life is grand.
