You know, we (Tanner and I) got up and around this morning, no big deal. She felt "ok" and I did too, so off to school and work we went. Fast forward to 10:00. My phone rings and it's Tanner. She doesn't feel good-her chest hurts, her head hurts and she's dizzy and feels like she's going to pass out. I talked to the nurse and she said that though she wasn't running a fever (she never does) she didn't "look right." She said her eyes didn't look right. So I went and got her.
We stopped by Steve's mom and checked T's blood sugar. She's complained several times about feeling "dizzy and shaky" and each time, I've given her something to drink or eat and it makes her feel better. My youngest brother is a diabetic so I know the signs/symptoms of low blood sugar. Well, I've never taken T's blood sugar before so I had Steve's mom do that using her meter. Her blood sugar was 95. Normal is 80-120, so that was great. She definitely is pale and kind of spacey looking. When I got her home I slathered her in Vick's and put her to bed. I got her a sinus rinse kit and plan on doing that later on this afternoon. For now she's just laying in bed resting and watching tv.
Steve went to the Dr this morning about his back. He's had terrible pain the last couple of weeks and it finally got bad enough he called for an appt yesterday. Well, he has a collapsed vertebrae. He goes for an MRI on Friday and then we'll go from there. Dr. said that he'll probably send him to a Neurologist who will look at it and decide if he needs physical therapy or back surgery. For now, he's on bed rest and pain pills.
You know that place in the Bible that says God doesn't give you more than you can handle? Well by golly, He and I are going to have a big long talk about His idea of
my limits and my idea!!
Please pray for my family.
