The End

After four days, today was the first day that Tanner has been puke free.  She woke up right before we left for work.  Her color was back to normal and her energy level and spirits were up.  That's what's so weird about this disease-when it hits, it hits hard.  When it's done, it's done.  Everything returns back to normal.

I'm so happy to have my girl back.  Life is just better when she's happy and healthy.

Tanner has been wanting a pair of Chaco sandals for awhile now.  I had put some money back a month or so ago to get her a pair but had said she needed to wait until she came back from her summer visitation with her Dad.  Well, after the week it's been and how well she's handled everything, I picked her up on my lunch and we went and got her a pair of sandals.

The girl is in heaven!  I loved seeing her face light up with pride as we walked out of the store.  And she's been saying "Thank you" non stop ever since.  In fact it was funny because when we got in the car to leave Lewis and Clark, she said "How about you let me treat you to some Sonic happy hour.  You can get whatever you want."  :)  Such a good kid.

Tonight my two Brown friends from work came over with their kids.  I had a couple of bottles of wine to share so we just sat around and relaxed while the kids played.  One of the girls has a little boy, Alex, who is has CP.  He is the cutest little guy and owns a piece of my heart.  I so enjoyed just hanging out with my girlfriends, laughing and relaxing.  It was the perfect way to start the weekend!
