*My Daddy interviewed for not one, but TWO jobs today!!! I am so proud of him and admire him so much. I hate job interviewing. It's one of the most humbling things a person can do in my opinion. Add to that the fact that my Daddy is in his mid 50's and that makes it even harder. In doing interviews at the PD the past year, we've seen more and more people my Dad's age looking and interviewing for jobs. With each one, I can't help but think of my Daddy and think about how hard that must be to be looking for a job in this economy.
So GOOD JOB DADDY!! I'm so very proud of you and am praying that God continues to direct and open doors for you.
*Tonight was the parent meeting for Tanner's Williamsburg trip. Now friends-we must ban together and begin praying NOW. The child is such a ball of nerves (can't imagine who she gets that from!) and by the time the meeting was halfway over, she was almost in tears and telling me "I can't do this...I can't do this" and I was threatening her "Yes you can and yes you will..." Ya'll, she's going to have a blast. This is a once in a lifetime trip and for the love of Pete...it's not like the kid is never gone from my side!! By the end of the meeting, she was hyper as all get out and back to wanting to go. She was talking to her friends and being the social butterfly. So just please ya'll, pray that the Devil will release this strong hold he's got on her and that God will grant her a peace about this whole trip.
*I went to a meeting last night of the Junior Auxiliary and I think I'm going to join and help out with that. I'll explain more about that later......but I'm excited!
*It's raining and cool outside-both my children (a.k.a Tanner and Steve) are in bed and I'm heading that way myself.
Nite!
