Once again, I'm not sleeping well. Irritating for sure. I've been trying to go to bed earlier in the evenings in hopes of not getting overly tired (and I've read several articles that say getting 8 hours of sleep a night will help you lose weight, so I'm trying to test that theory as well). I go to bed and go right to sleep, but the problem is....I wake up at 4:00 or 4:30! And that's not counting all the times I wake up through the night and am able to fall back to sleep! Even if I stay up until midnight, I usually will wake up at 4:00 or 4:30 wide awake! I've always been a morning person and I love my quiet time in the mornings but my word-I'd like to at least sleep until 5:00 or 5:30!
The last two nights I've not been able to shut my mind off when I go to bed. With everything going on with Steve's Mom, my mind has just been going ninety to nothing. We have a meeting tomorrow with the Dr and the Social Worker and will hopefully be able to formulate a plan to get her back home. We'll see how that goes.
I need to go finish making the muffins I started a little bit ago. Since I got up early I thought I'd try out a new recipe that I found in a Paula Deen magazine. I'll write more later.
Sorry this is so boring.
