The Frog

Tanner is a whiz in Science. It's her best subject by far. I don't usually check her homework or anything like that when it comes to Science because it's typically right and I don't worry about it.

Last week she brought home a paper model of a frog that she was working on. She sat at the table for quite awhile working on her frog, completed it and put it back in her backpack. I thought nothing more of it.

Yesterday I looked at her grades on line. I noticed in Science she had a B so I looked at her specific grades in that class. She got a D on the frog model. Uh-oh!

When she called after school I asked her about the grade and asked why she got a D on her frog model.

She said "Yea, I was supposed to make either a boy frog or a girl frog."

I was like "Yea, and?"

"Well, I made my frog both a boy and a girl."

"So you put both girl parts and boy parts on the one frog?"

"Yea, I didn't read the directions right."

Holy cow, I laughed so hard I almost pee'd my pants! It was hysterical! Of course Tanner didn't think it was quite as funny as I did, but that's ok! We laughed all night long about it and it still makes me chuckle.

Steve thought instead of getting a D on it, she should have gotten an A plus some extra credit for making a transgender frog!

Gotta love my blonde girl!
