Two Peas in a Pod

Twice this week, I've been told that Tanner and I are "two peas in a pod."

Tuesday night Tanner and I were laying on the bed in our room watching American Idol. Steve was in the hallway so he peeked in on us. He grinned and said "Now there's two peas in a pod."

Then last night I was talking to my BFF Stephanie on Facebook. She and I were talking about our girls. I said how Tanner and I have a Taylor Swift song that we call "our song." It has come on the radio every night this week on the way home. We like to turn the radio up and sing at the top of our lungs. Stephanie's response to this was "You two are two peas in a pod."

I guess I never thought about Tanner and I that way. I always thought we were just Mother and Daughter. Not "two peas in a pod."

I like it though and I like hearing that people think of us this way. I love my girl and wouldn't want her any other way.
