I was up early this morning (big shock, huh?) because I'm working at the pancake breakfast for the Chastains.
I heard Tanner get up at 5:30 and use the bathroom, so I went ahead and got up and checked on her. I put her back to bed and started getting ready. Around 5:45 or so, she came in and said her ear really hurt, so we took some medicine and I put her back to bed again, with strict instructions to go back to sleep.
I haven't heard a peep out of her since.
Well just a few minutes ago, I was in the bathroom. I heard Tanner coughing and hacking in her bedroom (which is across the hall from the bathroom). As soon as the coughing stopped I heard the sweetest thing.
Tanner was singing "Silent night....holy night....all is calm, all is bright...."
She was singing carols to herself!

What a perfect way to start the day.
