I know I've said it before and I know that I'm partial....but....my kiddo is a rock star. She never ceases to amaze me. She was such a trooper today getting her braces. They ended up having to burn, via a lazer, some of her upper gum tissue. Because she's a mouth breather, due to all of her jaw issues, her gums have always been puffy and funky. Not anymore. Well, they look a little wierd right now because they look burnt, but that's going to change after the next few days.
She was crying after all was said and done because they wired the upper brackets to the two screws that are in the upper jaw. It really hurt when they were tightening them, so she cried. Poor kid.
Mom's so proud of you, Tanner girl! Thank you for being such a trooper! I love you!

Tanner looks cute with braces!!! I can't believe how much she's grown up. Dr. Whitlock did my braces, too, and he and his staff are awesome! I know you guys will be happy with the end result, even though it takes a lot of pain to get there.
