We are back in Arkansas again. :(
We got back last night around 5:00 or so. It was hard saying goodbye and it was super hard coming home. I couldn't help but cry-I used to call my Grandparents when I got home each trip. It was something they started back when I was in college and when I moved here, it continued. So it was weird to NOT call them. Besides that, the trip was uneventful.
Today Tanner and I got up and went to church. To be totally honest, I didn't want to go -I wanted so bad to just have a day at home. But we went nonetheless and I'm glad we did. Today was Service Sunday, which is where our minister DOESN'T preach, but instead, as a congregation, we do a service project. We do this once a month. This month's service project was packing care packages for an Army platoon stationed in Iraq. We filled goodie bags for them with all kinds of fun things, along with a handmade card from the church and they will get shipped over there this week. I love Service Sunday and I always walk out there with a smile on my face.
After church everyone went to Tim's Pizza for lunch. It was good, but more than that, it was nice to sit and relax and have some down time for once. After lunch it was off to the grocery store. WOOO-WHOOO!! NOT!
I came home to an empty, quiet house. Tanner is at Mike's church practicing for her program tonight and Steve is working. It's so nice and peaceful right now. Very relaxing. Too bad it's too late to take a nap! My eyes are having a hard time staying open since I sat down.
I think I'm going to sign off of here and get up and try to get a few more things down around the house before my family comes home.
Happy Sunday.

Service Sunday sounds like a wonderful way to take our eyes off ourselves and put them on someone else. It reminds me of what I studied yesterday.
Here are a few of my notes from:
John 13:34-35
34) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35) By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
34—Jesus says that our Christlike love will show we are his disciples.
35) Love is revealed in action. Helping when it’s not convenient, by giving when it hurts, by devoting energy to others’ welfare rather than our own, by absorbing hurts from others without complaining or fighting back.
Have a wonderful week.
Blessings to you and your family
