Date Night

I promise, this is the last post tonight.

Earlier this week I told Steve that we needed a date night. We needed to get away from the house and the cell phones and just enjoy some peace and quiet together. He's never surprised me with a date before, so I asked him if he would plan it and surprise me. By golly, love that man's heart, he did!!

I have looked forward to tonight all week long. I didn't care what we did, as long as we were away from the house and the cell phones. I even went and bought a sassy new shirt for the occasion! I had to look good for my man, you know!

Steve talked to one of the guys at work who recommended we try Bonefish Grill, so that's what we did. Oh.My.Word. It was FABULOUS! Yum, yum, yum!

We decided on the way up there that we weren't going to talk about #1. his mother, #2 my brother or #3 work. It was funny because we were like "Crap, we'll have a silent dinner!" HA!

It was nice and relaxing though. I had the most wonderful pomegranate martini (and also a mango martini-yum!)! We shared some Bang Bang Shrimp and just sat and visited for the first thirty minutes or so. Steve had told the waitress that we were just going to relax and have a few drinks for awhile and she totally left us alone, which was awesome. We had a wonderful, relaxing dinner and it was so worth every penny that we spent.

We are now at home laying in bed watching tv. Steve's back is bothering him pretty bad today (thanks to PT yesterday, dang it!) so laying flat is the most comfortable. I'm just thankful to be laying next to him.
