Tonight Jill (Tanner's step mom) and I got together at my house and watched "The Bachelorette" together. Several seasons ago, Jill invited me to join her and five others who got together each week to eat and watch the show. Oh my word, I've been hooked every since!
I love Monday nights! It's so much easier to watch the show when your husband isn't putting his snide two cents in. :)
Tonight it was just Jill and I. It was such a nice relaxing evening though. She came to my house and we kicked Steve and Tanner to their bedrooms. We had a strawberry margarita and then watched the show. Talk about fun times! It was very relaxing and I loved having me some "girl time!!"
Some people, ok most people, think that Jill and I's relationship is weird and I guess on some level, it is a little strange. Overall though, I love that girl! We don't always see eye to eye and sometimes we have to agree to disagree, but overall, we are great friends. It's sometimes scrary how alike we really are! It's good for Tanner though, that we can all be friends and do things together. She thinks it's great and so do I.
I'm off to bed. I'm about to fall asleep typing. I'm so tired!

That's great you had such a fun time! Funny you and I both posted on our blogs about girlfriends last night! It is true, women really need other women friends! I think it's awesome the relationship you and Jill have. Oh how things have evolved over the past 12 years!! :)
