I forgot to mention in last night's post......

The Asst. Principle called me yesterday about the boy that's been bullying Tanner. He said that he talked to both the boy and the boy's parents. He said the boy has been given "stiff punishment" (he couldn't tell me what that punishment was due to privacy stuff) and that the parents were upset at his behavior and said they will talk to him as well. He said that before the child is let back into the class, he will meet again with Mr. Loftin and it will once again be made clear to him that he is to leave Tanner and the other kids alone. He said Tanner is NOT the only one that he's picking on, that this is an ongoing problem. He told me to keep in touch with him and to encourage Tanner to stay in touch with him as well so if something happens again, he can punish him again. He said if need be, he will expell him. We'll see if that happens. So we'll see what happens when he comes back to the class. I guess only time will tell.
