We had two different Dr's appointments yesterday for Tanner so I decided to take the day off and hang out with her since it was her last day home before going to her Dad's for two weeks.
We started the day bright and early with PT at 8:00. There was no change in Tanner's range of motion or her pain level. Bummer.
After therapy, we ran a couple of errands and then went and got donuts at Rick's Bakery-our absolutely favorite place in the world to go for sweets. My word, they were delish!
Next on the agenda was getting our nails done. Tanner LOVES to get a pedicure, but was afraid they'd get too close to her knee, so she didn't want that done. Instead she got her nails and toes painted a "sparkly" blue color. She was so cute to watch as she was getting it done. She had a big smile on her face and you could just tell that she was having a good time. When we got in the car, she said "I want to come back to this place-that was awesome!"
We went home for an hour or so, grabbed a bite of lunch and just hung out until it was time to go see Dr. Powell. It was such a good day and we had so much fun.
I love our "girl's days" and look forward to many more to come!
