She Won!!!

We got a phone call yesterday morning saying that Tanner had won a bike from her Orthodontist office! When you recommend Dr. Whitlock to someone, they put the referring person's name in a drawing and then every couple of months, they have a big prize give away. Well yesterday, Tanner won the bike! Can you tell she's excited??

We go today to pick up the gift certificate and to get a picture taken with one of the staff members at Dr. Whitlock's office. She gets a $300 gift certificate to the Fayetteville Bike Shop. She has been working hard at school and we had told her if she continues to do that, we'd buy her a new mountain bike at the first of the summer. Looks like we don't have to do that anymore! Instead, I think we're just going to put the money we would have spent on a new bike and add it to the $300 and get her a new helmet and water bottle for the bike.

Since Tanner had her All City Choir concert last night, I wasn't able to talk to her until after the concert. We decided not to tell her at all until we got home and then let her listen to the message for herself. She was very confused at first, especially since I had the camera out. Once she heard, she just started screaming and jumping up and down. It was too cute for sure!

She hung up the phone after listening to the message and called Grandma. She had to tell them about it-then she called her Dad and told him about it. She was so excited, she could hardly stand it and hey, who can blame her right?

What a great night!
