Friday

It's 3:28 on Friday afternoon. Our Captain has let all but two of us go home. He plays a game of some sort every Friday and sometimes we all get to go home early, sometimes just one of us gets to go home early. Today, Claudia and I are the losers, so here we sit.

Everyone is caught up on our work, so at this point, we're just hanging out waiting for 5:00 to get here.

My girl comes home tomorrow. YAY! I'm so ready to see her! It's almost been a week and I think that's probably the longest time I've gone without seeing her. We were supposed to meet my Mom in Joplin tonight to get her, but since the weather is going to be so bad we decided not to. Tanner's Dad and Step Mom are in KC and are coming back tomorrow and she's going to ride back with them. Hope the snow stays away until she comes home!

All in all, it's been a pretty good week. I felt crummy at the first of the week, but seem to be getting over that. I think a lot of it is allergies since everything seems to be in bloom around here. Thank goodness for Clariton!

Wednesday after work I went and got a massage. I could tell that I needed one and figured if I kept waiting around for the perfect time, there would never be one. So I booked it and went. Let me just say it was the best darn massage I've ever had, I think-it was so relaxing and so peaceful! I was so sad to see the hour over! It's something that I'm going to try and start doing once every few months instead of just once a year. It was good to feel so carefree and relaxed, even if only for a little bit. Well worth the money indeed.

Last night Steve and I met for dinner then went home and played on the Wii. Yea, I lost....but it was still fun. We broke out the boxing game and holy cow, that's a workout in and of itself! I couldn't believe how much my heart was racing-both from laughing and from playing the game! What a hoot!

No major plans for the weekend at our house. I think tomorrow night we're going to have a fondue party to celebrate being back together. I'm trying a new recipe and hopefully the family will like it. Either way, it's going to be nice to have us all under one roof.

It's now 3:36......this post didn't waste nearly as much time as I had hoped. Oh well.

TGIF!
