We are in Conway tonight. Currently we are laying in the nicest Fairfield Inn I've ever been in! It's only two weeks old so it's all nice and new. It's got great colors in it and is just so festive! I'll post pictures later.
We are here visiting our friends Jeff and Diana Tate. Jeff and Steve used to work together and I knew them through New Springs (our church). Several years ago, Jeff left his job with DEA and went to Physician's Assistant school. He is now full time in the National Guard doing PA stuff. They live in Mayflower, Arkansas which is right outside of Conway. They've been here for almost two years.
Jeff is getting deployed on the 20th of this month for a year. They've had company come down every weekend for the past month or so-in order for everyone to get to tell him goodbye. This weekend is our turn.
We hung out at their house this afternoon when we got here, then his Mom (who is here from Springdale as well) stayed with their three kids so we could go out for a "Grown Up Dinner."
We went to a seafood place called Mike's Place in old downtown Conway. It was so nice and the food was good as well. Then we went to TJ MAX and More and also to Target. We stopped by Shakes on the way back to Mayflower and now we're resting comfortably in our bed.
We are dead tired and I know that tomorrow is going to go by much faster than we want it to-today definitely did. It's been fun hanging out with them and the kids though and I'm so thankful we came down here. I only wish Tanner could have been with us as well-she loves Jeff, Diana and the kids! Oh well, maybe next time!
I'm off of here to try and get some sleep....I'll let you know how that works out...hotel beds creep me out you know. I've taken a sleeping pill though and hopefully that will kick in.
More later!

I'm glad you got to go have some time with your friends. I LOVED the pictures!...I'm a picture girl just in case you couldn't tell. ;o) I will definitely pray for Jeff's safety, and for Diana and the kids because I'm sure this will be a long year for them.
YAY for a fun weekend! I'm glad you got to go see your friends. That's awesome you found a two week old motel! At least you know the bed hasn't been used too much there! ;) I wanted to say, thanks for your wonderful comments on my blog. They really helped!
Love you! <3
