As you've noticed, I'm sure....I changed the background on my blog. What do you think? Like it? Hate it? Give me some feedback, friends.
I started collecting snowmen several years ago. Tanner's Nanny (her babysitter, who was like another Mom to me and another Grandma to Tanner) collected snowmen and I thought that was the greatest idea! You can put them out at Thanksgiving and then leave them out until the end of January or the first of February. They represent more of a winter theme and I like that I can leave them out for so long.
I went today and got all of our Christmas stuff out of storage and brought it home! Since Steve had his back surgery and still can't lift things, I did it all by myself and I was quite proud of myself, I must say. I had asked my partner at work to help me, then thought I'd wait and have one of the guys from church help me, but then in the end, I thought "Forget it! I can do it!" So I did. Yea, I was feeling like She-Ra by time I got everything in the truck and then unloaded at home!
We have a somewhat full day tomorrow and Steve has to work on Sunday, so I'm not sure when we'll get the tree up and the snowmen out. Hopefully we can at least get the tree up this weekend sometime and then when we get back from Thanksgiving and Tanner comes home, we can decorate it. I can't wait!!!
I'll post pictures as soon as we get done with all the decorating. In the meantime....

Your background is very festive! I love it for this time of year! How do you change your background? Have you ever lost any of your posts? Do you back it up somewhere?
I also collect snowmen, but I haven't added to my collection the past couple of years. Way to go, being She-Ra!!!!

I LOVE the new background! Very cute. I have lots of snowmen too! They don't usually come out til Christmas decorations come out, but that's a good idea to leave them out longer.
