so this is going to be short. Surprised, aren't you? (Hee hee)
Today was ok. Matt went to another Dr at the request of his Workman's Comp nurse. Praise God! He started throwing up on Sunday and threw up off and on through Monday afternoon when they took him to the ER. When you have a broken back, skull fracture and broken ribs, throwing up can be painful. Anyway, the new Dr did some thorough re-checking and has decided to send him to a "Bone Dr whose specialty is necks." (Those are my Mom's words by the way-don't you love how technical she is!?) I'm not sure when that appt is, but I'd assume it'll be sometime this week.
In the meantime, Matt and his wife are staying at my parent's house. Another praise God. I really think that will do a lot to boost his spirits....and believe me, he needs lots of spirit boosting these days, bless his baby heart. Like I told him last night....number one, I'm not loosing my baby brother and number two, we're Golden's and that means we don't give up!
I called my Gma tonight. She's really been on my mind lately with Gpa passing but yet I was kind of nervous about calling her.
Crap-Tanner just came out of her room with her bed sheet, sleep walking again. I'm telling you that kid! I'll be right back!
Ok, back to Gma. Oh.my.word she sounded so good. We talked for 25 minutes and we never talk that long! We reminisced about Gpa and what a great guy he was. That was neat to do yet hard at the same time because I think we were both trying NOT to cry! It was so good to talk to her though. She's such a tough woman. I love her to pieces and am so blessed to have (and had) wonderful grandparents.
I don't know what Tanner's deal is with sleeping the last two nights. Last night when Steve got home, her bedroom door was open, which it was shut-I guess she got up and opened it again at some point and I didn't hear her (scary!). Then she tears her bed apart and comes out here to the living room tonight talking about something involving coloring! I hope this isn't going to become a regular thing!
I'm off of here. I'm tired and worn out.
G'night!

This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day.
I love you.
P.S. And, remember...If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.
Now, you have a nice day.
God
