Exhausted

I'm extremely tired, so this is going to be short. After 10 hours of travel today, we finally made it to Florida at 10:00 their time tonight. Holy crap, it was a long day! What was supposed to take only five hours took ten. Our original flight out of XNA was delayed two hours due to mechanical problems in Atlanta. That meant our connecting flight to Jacksonville went on without us. So....we had a four hour layover in Atlanta. Holy cow, it was a long four hours!! I hadn't eaten all day and was about to pass out, so we went to Chili's, had a margarhita (YUM!) and ate. The rest of the time, we just sat around the terminal and read or people watched. Our flight to Jacksonville took off on time and 47 minutes later, here we were! Luckily, our luggage made it fine and we had no problems at the hotel or the rental car place.

We have great rooms where we are staying. I have a little deck off of my room that has two little chairs and a table on it and you face the ocean. Talk about beautiful! It's almost scarey to go out there in the pitch black and see nothing but the moon and hear nothing but the waves crashing. I can't wait to see it in the daylight and to utilize my little sitting area!! We went down and walked on the beach just a little bit tonight, but not a whole lot since it was 11:00 here.

I'm off to bed now. 5:30 will come awfully soon, I'm afraid. I'm looking forward to my class and am looking forward to enjoying the beach as well. Only one thing could make it better-if I had Steve and Tanner here to enjoy it with me. I miss my family terribly. :(
